Healthy SuperBowl Snacks

Tonight is the SuperBowl and since I am from New Jersey, I am a BIG Giants fan. I am really pumped to watch the game and I really want to Pig out on junk food which is very much a part of the  SuperBowl game experience, but I also want to try and keep it relative healthy. So I have put together a list of Semi healthy SuperBowl Snacks.

 

 

Healthy SuperBowl Snacks

Steve’s Healthy SuperBowl Snacks:

  • Home made Whole Wheat pizza. With the exception of the dough this is just a regular pizza, but since it is made from scratch the sauce won’t have any preservatives.
  • BBQ flavored rice cakes. I am not sure of the name but the supermarket by my house has bags of these chips like rice cakes that are BBQ flavored but are much better for you than fried potato chips.
  • Natural Flavored Microwave Popcorn. Not the healthiest of snacks but again much better than the butter flavored.
  • Light Beer. Enough said
  • Diet Ice Tea (peach flavored) to go with my peace vodka.

I know this is not the healthiest list of healthy SuperBowl snacks, but I really can’t see myself sitting down for the game Beer in one hand and sliced fruit and vegetables in the other hand.

Just remember its ok to go off your diet from time to time and if you go only partially off all the better
